The 2026 Walker’s Cay Open

Lights Out gets underway at Walker’s Cay in preparation for the 2026 SFC Walker’s Cay Open.

Walker’s Cay, Bahamas

May 15 – 17

The 2026 SFC Walker’s Cay Open promised to be a proving ground for the Atlantic Division, and it proved a tough tournament for many teams. Lights Out Boston AC managed to hang onto its Division lead with a fourth-place finish worth another 2,600 points in the league standings. This tournament is an early season away game that tests every team’s grit, and this year further burnished that reputation.

Lights Out Boston entered the Walker’s Cay Open with a lead in the Atlantic Division, and headed to the Bahamas for the second event of the season. After a great start on the sailfish off Key West for the2026 SFC Key West Classic, Lights Out Boston is hoping to stretch the lead. Of course, there are six other teams in the Atlantic Division who may have a thing or two to say about it. Among them is the perennial powerhouse on Taylor Jean, the New Jersey Sea Birds AC led by 2025 SFC First Team All-Star Captain Blaine Birch, who, incidentally took first place honors at Walker’s last year as well.

Walker’s Cay is a small island set like a jewel in a sea that can offer exciting opportunities to catch blue marlin, white marlin, and sailfish.
