Lights Out Boston Is Fired Up for the 2026 Sport Fishing Championship Season

Lights Out Boston starts their streak last season. Who wouldn’t want to do it again?

After an unforgettable 2025 season, with three tournament wins to close out the Atlantic Division, an appearance in the SFC Zane Grey Championship Playoffs, and a rewarding night celebrating the year at the annual SFC Awards, the Lights Out team is already looking ahead to the year ahead. In fact, we’ve been thinking about it since the moment we wrapped the Zane Grey Championship in October. The Lights Out Boston Angling Club is really proud of what our team accomplished in 2025, and we’re coming into 2026 with even more momentum, more strategies to raise fish, and more excitement.

This winter, we’re also bringing fresh experience back to the Atlantic. The Lights Out team has spent nearly three months fishing our Viking 62 Lights Out in the Pacific, running from Mexico to Panama, chasing bites, dialing in our tactics, and building the kind of chemistry that only comes from time on the water together. We also want to thank Capt. Tyler Dufresne for a historic 2025 season, and we wish him all the best as he departs Lights Out Boston in pursuit of his next adventures.

Now, it’s time to turn our attention back home and start gearing up for our 2026 Season Kick-Off closer to our home waters.

Watch Events Coming Soon

Fans gather at The Legacy Club of Boston to watch the Zane Grey Championship.

We know our fans love following along so we’ll also be releasing our full schedule of watch events soon, with ways for fans, friends, and fellow anglers to tune in, gather, and cheer on the team throughout the season.

We’re proud of what we built in 2025, and we can’t wait to share what’s ahead in 2026. Let’s go—Lights Out!
